One-Punch Man Its Third Season Is Set to Continue (By 2027)
Perhaps the most shocking revelation, the widely-criticized troubled production that was season 3 of One-Punch Man failed to deter the series' continuation. The show will come back with a follow-up batch of episodes in 2027—a date so remote they easily could have dubbed it season 4. More surprisingly, animation studio J.C. Staff will still be at the helm. Thankfully this time, director Shinpei Nagai is set to direct from the start, which could be taken as a hopeful indicator. But, the promotional image for the second cour is the same image the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou facing different directions. This leads one to believe that, by now, they could be trolling the fans.
The Ruri Dragon Series Is Set to Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has established a reputation for being an top-tier animation studio, setting itself apart not just for the exceptional quality of its productions but for the ethical practices of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Curiously, until now, it had not adapted an anime adapted from a manga published in Shonen Jump, possibly the most famous magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will change that, and what a excellent choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo gained a huge following when it debuted in 2022 after just a few chapters, but then went into a lengthy break due to the mangaka's health issues. When it resumed publication with a reduced workload, the series demonstrated it maintained the fans' appreciation and enthusiasm, and now fans are thrilled about the impending KyoAni adaptation.
The Kingdom Series Season 6 Has a Sequel Now in the Works
Kingdom is the highly popular, long-running Shueisha manga that is not One Piece. If you've are unfamiliar with it before, it's because it only just received an English release, but the anime has been airing for years, and season 6 was a further excellent entry. It turns out that was just the initial batch, because a "sequel" has been revealed as in production, and it will almost certainly air in 2026.
Science Saru Is Bringing A Witch in Mongolia To Anime
Another studio known for the superior craftsmanship of its productions, Science Saru has brought us hit shows of the ilk of Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, and, more recently, Dandadan. This time, the studio will be handling the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, which is based on the real historical figure of Fatima, an powerful woman and scholar in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. From the trailer, the anime named Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a distinctly fresh and captivating visual style, which is somewhat reminiscent of Ranking of Kings. Debuting in July 2026, this one will without a doubt be on my watchlist.
Tougen Anki Will Return With a Season Two

Adapted from the Japanese legend of Momotaro, Tougen Anki brings to life the manga by Yura Urushibara.
